I love taking photos but I’d never really understood much about what any of the settings did, why they were important and generally didn’t really know how to get the best shot in various different circumstance. I started researching, reading, and carried on taking pictures – practising was easy because it was just, well, fun.

This website is an attempt to document my journey as I get more serious about the art. I don’t claim to be the best photographer, in fact I am an amateur. But I have learned a lot, and have a lot to learn. It is my hope that this website will document my journey and be useful to others who are starting out in the world of photography.
